Sundar Pichai recently lauded a woman who scored zero in quantum physics exam. The reason will win your heart.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai was among some of the world's top tech leaders and scientists who commended a woman for pursuing science despite scoring zero on a quantum physics exam only a few years ago. Today, Sarafina Nance is doing PhD in astrophysics at one of top institutions in the world, the University of California, Berkeley. The 26-year-old astrophysicist is researching supernovae. 

 "4 years ago I got a 0 on a quantum physics exam. I met with my professor fearing i needed to change my major & quit physics. today, I'm in a top tier astrophysics Ph.D program & published 2 papers. STEM is hard for everyone -- grades don't mean you're not good enough to do it (sic.)," ...

she said in a tweet on Thursday which has now been liked over 57,000 times and retweeted over 10,000 times.

"Well said and so inspiring!," Pichai said in response.

CTET 2019 NOTIFICATION

CTET 2019 December dates have been announced. The schedule of Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) to be held in December 2019 has been released. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is responsible for organising it. The Board will be organising this test in 110 cities across India in 20 languages. 

CTET 2019 December Application Form

• Candidates can apply for CTET - December 2019 ‘Online’ through CTET Website www.ctet.nic.in w.e.f. 19th August 2019 to 18th September 2019

The candidate applying for CTET is required:

1. To go through the Information Bulletin carefully with the entire requirement therein
2. To satisfy eligibility to appear in the examination
3. To submit On-line application by giving full particulars by accessing the CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in
4. To write complete mailing address with Postal PIN Code at the time of applying
5. Before submission of application form, decide the mode of payment of fee.
6. To keep the Confirmation Page along with the original copy of E-Challan (In case fee is paid through E-Challan) of Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank for future reference
7. If a candidate submits on-line more than one application, his/her candidature shall be liable to be cancelled and the candidate may also be debarred for future examination(s). No communication will be sent in this regard.
